Smart Mind Map is an offline-first productivity app by vishnuambika.

1. Overview

Smart Mind Map lets users create mind maps, store notes, record node voice notes, and export maps as images. The app is designed for users aged 13+.

2. Data We Handle

We do not require account registration.

Data created inside the app:

• Mind map titles, nodes, and notes
• Node style data (color, emoji/icon)
• Node voice note metadata and local file paths
• Local app settings (for example last active time)

Storage behavior:

• App data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and app storage.
• No cloud sync is provided by this app.

3. Ads and Third-Party SDK

This app uses Google AdMob for monetization.

AdMob may process:

• Device identifiers used for advertising
• Basic diagnostics and ad performance data

4. Permissions

Microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO) is requested only when you choose to record a voice note.

The app does not request microphone permission for normal browsing or editing.

Notification permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, Android 13+) may be requested if you enable daily reminder notifications.

5. Local Reminder Notifications

Smart Mind Map may schedule local reminder notifications to help you return to the app and discover relevant templates.

• Reminders are scheduled and generated on your device (offline/local).
• Reminder suggestions may use local app usage signals such as recent templates, favorite templates, and reminder settings.
• No account is required for reminders.
• You can disable reminders anytime in the app’s Daily Reminders settings or your device notification settings.

If notification permission is denied, reminders will not be shown.

6. How Data Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by Google AdMob according to Google’s own policies when ads are requested and displayed.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Data created in the app remains on your device unless you delete it.
• If you uninstall the app, local app data may be removed by your device.
• You can delete maps and voice notes from inside the app.

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 13+ and is not marketed as a child-directed app.

9. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated in future releases. The “Last updated” date will change when updates are made.
